Equality means that deserving, diverse classes of people,
e.g. men or women, races or religion, are treated with equal dignity. Conversely, an
orientation for same-sex means zero gender diversity just as an orientation for same-race creates zero racial diversity where the same
class of people are treated equally but the diverse class is treated second-class. By
definition, same-sex means that both complementary and necessary sexes are NEVER allowed
the privilege or dignity of leadership in the family, simply because they are different.
Same-sex unions are therefore anti-diversity and thus anti-equality.
Equality does not mean equal rank or equal positions in leadership.
Men are equal with other men, yet they do not have equal authority or qualifications when
compared with other men. Men are rejected all the time by other men or women because of
lack of qualifications.
Men obviously do not qualify as mothers who have the unique
ability to give birth to ALL of mankind. Thus, men are properly rejected as mothers and
women are rejected as fathers. There isn't one person or family on earth that did not
require a mother and a father in order to exist, so obviously it would not be an improper
form of discrimination for a man to always reject another man and prefer equality by
honoring the diversity of a woman as an equal partner in the headship of the family (and
vice-versa)?
You will hear same-sex female dominated couples say:
"we are doing just fine without a man in our family" or male dominated same-sex
couples saying: "we are doing just fine without a woman in our family". This
is not any different than a group of two white people saying: "we are doing just fine
without blacks in our group".
